A Dubious Honor

Lots of groups in Sacramento put out end-of-the-year Scorecards, ranking how all the legislators voted on a set of bills of particular interest to them.

Tom Harman was given top honor by one I just saw - as having the TOP SCORE of ANY OC GOP legislator on the Log Cabin Republican scorecard. Yes, those Log Cabin Republicans.

Congrats Senator. That's just Super.

A pretty interesting spin you put on this. He ranked 4th with a score of 15 points out of 29. He was half a point ahead of Sen Dick Ackerman. And he scored higher due to being listed as absent or abstaining on bills. What's dubious is your skewing and half reporting of the scorecard. You can see the full scorecard at the Log Cabin website at http://ca.logcabin.org.

WHY is this site so obsessed with Tom Harman? Could it be someone from the Harkey camp who is STILL bitter over losing the state senate after spending all that money????

No worries Harkey can now buy an assembly seat.

Or is this an old grudge from the Jim Righeimer camp? He was after all entitled to a coronation for the assembly seat. The "election" was merely a formality until the voters picked Harman to represent them.

So this site is just for sore losers!

Did that commenter really ask why this site is "so obsessed with Tom Harman?"?

Ummm, this is a site dedicated to "watching" Tom Harman. Hence the name "Harman Watch." Get it?
